The most important attractions of Trujillo and Chiclayo
Chiclayo “Friendship City” located in the department of Lambayeque in northern Peru, offers visitors and tourists a variety of destinations, including most importantly the “Lord of Sipan” inherited from the past millennium.
Trujillo, Capital of the department of La Libertad. Called, City of Eternal Spring. Located in the northeastern part of Peru, is the capital of the department of La Libertad.
Among his most notable attractions include, Huaca de la Luna – Museum of Moche Temples – Chan Chan – Huaca El Dragon – Huanchaco and others who visit the time spent in Trujillo.
ITINERARY
Day 1 LIMA-TRUJILLO
Transfer Airport to hotel
In the afternoon City Tour, tour of the main parts of the city of Trujillo, which shows highlighting its rich colonial baroque style houses and republican art with its neo-classical mansions. The tour begins in the Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, House Urquiaga, La Merced Church, House Emancipation Iturregui Palace and finally visit the Museum of Archaeology National University of Trujillo, to get an overview of the development of pre-Hispanic the region.

Day 2 TRUJILLO-HUACA DE LA LUNA – MOCHE TEMPLES MUSEUM – CHAN CHAN – HUACA EL DRAGON – HUANCHACO
Visit to the Temples of the Sun and Moon, the capital of the Moche culture. Excavation is currently in the Huaca de la Luna. We can see the beautiful murals depicting the god Ai-Paec, also known as “Cutthroat.”
After the visit to Huaca de la Luna visit the new museum site of Moche Temples.
In the afternoon the Huaca Arco Iris The Dragon, located north of Trujillo. This temple was built by the Chimuculture, and was an integral part of Chan Chan. After the visit we went to Chan Chan to visit the site museum where we see the model of the entire city, then the citadel or Nik Tschudi W, which is the only one of the nine that you can visit.
Finally, we end the tour in the fishing village of Huanchaco, famous for the “totora horses” that are used by fishermen to the present.

Day 3 TRUJILLO- CHICLAYO
Transfer by bus in the morning (04 hours)

Day 4 CHICLAYO- SIPAN
The tour starts toward the southeast with “Sipan” or village of Sipan was found the place where the Lord of Sipantomb, will visit the site museum and the archaeological area.
Continue to the Pyramids of Túcume, we walk in the archaeological site, climb the hill to the viewpoint of Raya, and the visit will end with the museum. Royal Tombs of Sipan (Lambayeque), instead of exposing the tomb of the Lord of Sipan gold, gold, silver and precious stones.
